Stories of Silver handcrafted these long-stud earrings from two silver pieces, created from a silver strip textured with natural materials such as wooden tree bark, straw, and dry teak tree leaves. The silver strip was thinned to approximately 0.5 mm thickness by passing it through a rolling mill with these materials, resulting in a surface embossed with beautiful, deeply textured natural patterns.

The two silver pieces were cut into different simple geometric forms, smoothed along the edges, and bent into their final shapes. A sterling silver stem is soldered to the back of the shorter front piece, with the longer back piece positioned behind the earlobe, secured with a push-back butterfly clasp.

Due to the manual texturing process, no two surfaces are identical, ensuring each earring is unique while maintaining a consistent overall effect. This individuality is what makes the product special. Stories of Silver also crafted two matching necklaces with similarly textured elements to complement the earrings.
